Evelyn Reder Wade is the director of the German Language Program. She received her M.A. in English, Romance, and German studies from the University of Salzburg, Austria, and her Ph.D. in Education with an emphasis in Second Language Acquisition from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Her interests focus on language teaching methodology, instructional improvement, and curriculum development. Apart from directing the German language program, she also teaches lower and upper division language courses and the methodology seminar for graduate students.
