Bio

Angineh Djavadghazaryans is a Lecturer in German. She received her B.A. in German and Psychology at Hunter College in New York City and her Ph.D. in Germanic Languages and Literatures and a certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research interests include feelings of shame and processes of shaming in German literature of the nineteenth century, shame and shaming in the language classroom and its effects on foreign language acquisition, and inclusive German language instruction.
